Pastors Bryan and Tiffany Courtney launched Mount Hope Church in January 2011.  Both are credentialed ministers with the Indiana District Assemblies of God, and they have been married for 22 years.

 

Their journey began on February 18, 2002, when Pastor Bryan first heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   He turned his life over to the Lord, and six months later he was Baptized in the Holy Spirit and knew that his life was forever changed.  That same year, Pastors Bryan and Tiffany received the call of God on their lives, and since then they have been an awesome ministry team. 

 

The Courtney’s received their ministry training through MISOM (Michigan School of Ministry) and Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan.  After much prayer, fasting and research, along with the blessings from both the Michigan and Indiana Districts of the Assemblies of God; Pastors Bryan & Tiffany were sent out to begin Mount Hope Church in Lafayette, Indiana, as an Affiliate Church from Pastor Dave Williams and Pastor Kevin Berry of Mount Hope, Lansing.

 

Pastors Bryan and Tiffany enjoy riding their motorcycle together and spending time together.  In addition, Pastor Tiffany is Pastor Bryan’s biggest intercessor and encourager as he leads Mount Hope Church.  They have seen God move in their lives with awesome favor and grace as they have purposed to rely on the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of ministry.

 

The Courtney’s have four incredible children:  Alaynah (recently married to Nathan Sawczak), attends North Central University; Nathan graduated from North Central in 2015.  Weston, who plays percussion like his dad, and also attends North Central University; Brynleigh and Josiah (twins), who even at a young age show hearts to worship and play music like their father and siblings. All four of the Courtney’s children love the Lord and are a big part of the church and ministry.

 

Pastors Bryan and Tiffany love the Greater Lafayette Area and have a heart to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching out to those in the local community.  Their dream is to build the City of Hope, which will be an outreach center that meets physical as well as spiritual needs. The Courtney’s believe that raising up and developing key leaders is an important part of the vision that God has given them, and they are committed to doing this at Mount Hope Church.
